Who are we anyways?!

The Whiteshell Wilderness Wanderers is a community of Christ followers and seekers alike who pursue the many different outdoor activities that Manitoba, Canada has to offer. We live, travel, serve, and experience in community. We are basically a wilderness church.

Our purpose is to spend weekends and free time out in the sticks as we paddle, climb, hike, and bike in a pursuit of Christ. Every location, route, and trip is uniquely different; especially due to the weather conditions.

We strive to encourage and spur each other on while climbing a 5.11 route, negotiating a class 3 rapid, or spending a weekend in the backcountry for the first time. During praise and worship times we have a choir of loons, and during teaching times we have a picnic tale as a pulpit. We are all called to be part of the body, so we work to fulfill that calling by working together.

I encourage you to join us and just maybe you'll come away with a new understanding of yourself, the world, and God!
